 NextMedia Group Wilmington offers non-paid internships each semester of the school calendar year. Learn how to develop and execute promotions, write and voice production, marketing, sales, and administration from the inside out. Ideal candidates will be energetic, committed, out-going but self controlled students with a general interest in marketing/promotions. Prior experience is not necessary, but the desire to learn and participate is a must.
Duties will include updating listener databases, attending live broadcasts, Internet research, running errands, developing proposals, filing, and creating PowerPoint presentations. Throughout the semester, interns will assist all departments including Promotions, Sales, Production, Traffic, and Administration. Interns will report to the Promotions Director.
A minimum of 15 hours per week commitment is required. NextMedia requires that all students receive college credit for their internship. NextMedia Wilmington is an equal opportunity employer.
CONSIDERATIONS:
Must be a Junior/Senior Standing
GPA of a 3.0 or above
Available some nights and weekends
Some lifting may be required
